GROWING SCULPTURE- Ideas for sculpture
The ideas for ‘Growing Sculpture’ are developed through sketches in various note books. Many of the ideas relate to trees and exploit traditional gardening techniques such as espalier, pleaching and grafting. Other ideas involve plants such as bulbs & heather.Another series of potential growing works use more familiar sculptural materials and techniques alongside the planting, incorporating large stones, a boat or stainless steel constructions.
